Although incidents as such have been happening frequently in our country hence common, it is that time for action to be taken. The Female Gender need to be assured that their safety is guaranteed anywhere they step onto.

In most cases, women values are undermined due to the societal values. The society does not want to care if one is living her life, it sometimes just want to frustrate the female in small issues that are not even worth the stress. Issues to do with the dressing code. 

November 14th, 2014, Thousands of protesters gathered in Nairobi to rally in support of a woman who was assaulted and stripped by a group of men. The attackers accused the victim, who wore a miniskirt, of "tempting" them because she was wearing "indecent" clothing. The incident made the protesters walk all around with banners written, 'My dress, My choice'. Well, this was according to the society, that women should not put on short dresses or skirts because they are showing off their extra skin.

This being one of the common issues, I believe that the society need to take it easy on the women and adjust to their values too. I mean, they are humans too and the least the society can do is acting humane. All females are entitled to do as they please as long as what they do, will not bring a negative impact to the society or people living around them. These matters of ladies being harassed should not be bound to happen and the government should and ought to ensure safety to all female around the country..and globally too. Let us all break the bias because women are as much equal as to the Men.
